MARIE ANTOINETTE
A couple of months ago I met with Cynthia Basker from Celebrated Events to discuss WeddingDay Magazines’ styled shoot competition. We were brainstorming ideas and Cynthia had an amazing idea of “What if Marie Antoinette got married now”? The Museum of History was a perfect venue for this shoot with its whimsical gardens.
We were so excited to find out we received “Runner Up” in the 2019 Styled Shoot Competition and had a spread published in the magazine.
We had so many incredible vendors help us with this shoot. We absolutely loved working with each and every one of them! The soft romantic color pallet worked so well with the venue and Cynthia did an amazing job coordinating the tablescape to include the soft blue, coral and all the textured fabrics. Those velvet dusky blue napkins were to die for!
There were so many awesome elements to this shoot. The amazing headpiece and the collar that was made to customize the dress to fit the time period. Also the amazing cake by C’est La Vie Cakes. All of the textures of the tablescape made for an amazing table to photograph. The paper goods provided by Banter and Charm were perfect with the custom wax seal. Really, the vendors all pulled out the best they had for this shoot!
Claire, the model for this shoot was ABSOLUTELY perfect and pulled off this look perfectly. I absolutely loved photographing her and can’t wait to do it again. Thank you Claire!
