AMELIA + BROCK
There is so much to say about this amazing wedding. Amelia and Brock hired me close to 2 years before their wedding day so we got to know each other pretty well. They are an amazing couple and their wedding didn’t disappoint!
The weather was being super finicky that day… one min it was raining, the next it was super sunny and HOT! But that didn’t stop Brock and Amelia from having the BEST. DAY. EVER!!
THEIR GETTING READY LOCATION IN ST JOSEPH, ON THE LAKE WAS PERFECT!
They opted to do their first look on the walkway out to the lighthouse. It was so EPIC! There was a wind surfing competition going on at the time so it was so fun to see all the guys doing massive jumps behind them! The wind was ripping and the waves were for sure higher than normal, but we had a great time!
Their first look was so emotional and sweet.
LIGHTHOUSES ARE ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS TO PHOTOGRAPH!
We moved over to the beach and then to 12 Corners Winery to do more of their couples images and bridal party images. We got rained on a couple of times but everyone was troopers!
AMELIA ALSO DID A FIRST LOOK WITH HER DAD! SO SWEET!
Their ceremony was especially beautiful. They had a hand made arbor with their names carved into it. The winery as the backdrop was absolutely STUNNING! Right before their ceremony, their parents surprised them by bringing in their dog (who they didn’t know was going to attend their wedding). Talk about SMILES from ear to ear! Loved it!!
The reception was held at the same location under a big tent overlooking the vineyards. Doesn’t get much better than that!
