TIM + NICKI

Tim contacted me on Instagram after looking for a photographer to capture his proposal to his girlfriend, Nicki. When he messaged me I was so excited because this is exactly what I want to! He wanted to hike to the top of a Butte that overlooked a stunning valley (where they spend a lot of time) and propose to her on the top at sunset… now, doesn’t that sound like the ideal proposal? I was super excited and immediately agreed! He picked the date and we kept our fingers crossed for good weather. It did not disappoint! PERFECT weather and PERFECT clouds!

I hiked up the butte an hour early because I was nervous I would get lost or it would be harder than I thought. I got to the top and was so excited. We waited for Tim and Nicki to arrive and I kept getting text updates as to their location and when they would arrive. I pretended to be up there photographing the sunset and Nicki had no idea!

Tim’s proposal was so cute! He had to let Nicki into the secret that I was there to photograph it because she kept trying to move out of my way as to not ruin my sunset shots! LOL. How sweet is she!?!
